An integral part of our understanding in following Jesus is to seek and serve Christ in all persons by serving the human family. In addition to the monthly community meals offered by each of our churches, we partner with other churches and organizations to make God’s love tangible in our community and beyond. When disaster strikes, we regularly raise funds for Episcopal Relief and Development . Each congregation sponsors or commits funds and/or volunteers to multiple charities.

Life Together Partnership
In 2023, Our Saviour, Mechanicsburg, Epiphany, Urbana, Messiah Lutheran Church, Urbana and First Presbyterian Church, Urbana formed the Life Together Partnership, a collaborative enterprise to advance God’s mission together. Each church remains autonomous yet commits to working together in several areas to make a difference in the lives of each church’s members and the lives of those in the wider community:
The Life Together Partnership Steering Team comprises representatives from the participating congregations and meets monthly.
- Joint youth group
- Joint Vacation Bible School and other children’s ministries
- Outreach project support
- Joint opportunities for fellowship, Bible study and worship during Advent, Lent and throughout the year
- Field trips to places such the Ohio Theatre and the Dayton Dragons
